Evaza.com offers travel information and services to plan a customized itinerary based on your interest, time and budget. This is an interactive travel guide where most of the localized information and services is expected to be created and/or reviewed by the community. The name Evaza is derived from Sanskrit, “Eva” means “one” and “Aza” means “region”.

How We Got Here...

In early 2007, we decided to plan a family trip to India. While there were hundreds of websites from Indian travel agents, none were comprehensive enough to help us decide on where to visit, who to trust, where to stay, how to move around, how long does it take from one destination to another, how to book a car, etc. It took us literally weeks before we were actually able to create a plan. Then we shopped around for a travel agent, each had different suggestions, packages and rates. We also heard stories from friends who have had bad experiences with agents, guides, drivers, etc. We soon realized we were not alone in this dilemma. The best travel services were through “word of mouth”.

A lot of our colleagues and friends go to India for business travel. Having completed their business dealings they look for a quick tour of nearby places and are often not sure where to seek the information.

This is when we got the idea of creating an interactive travel community driven travel guide.
